Elizabethan Stardust – Open 3D Ornament – Digital Download

Description

How about this unique twist on the peyote star? The Elizabethan Stardust is comprised solely of warped squares but they are beaded so that they are open in the middle. This pattern also contains extra embellishment rows and hangs as a single ornament.

This star can also be made with as few as 3 points, and as many as 9 points (see photos above).

It’s made with 11/o beads (preferably seed beads as they lend more flexibility, montees (or you could use bicones or firepolished beads instead of the montees).

The open warped squares are created in with 9 rows plus an extra set of zip rows as well as fold-over rows.

This 7-page pattern is provided with all diagrams together with colour-coded row-by-row instructions to enable you to create this unique hanging ornament.

Note:  No specific bead brands or their designated bead numbers are given in these patterns.  My intention is to give the beader creative license in using beads from their stash which may closely represent the colours suggested in the pattern.  It is NOT my intention to dictate to the beader which specific beads to use (which, in turn, could create additional expense for the beader).
